Hostal Copiapó 9 was born as a family business around 1980, in the house located in Calle Huasco 144, due to the need to accommodate passengers arriving at the train station, looking for lodging and excursions.

His new manager, a passionate tourism technician, retakes the tradition and hotel vocation in 2006 with his wife and children, in a new direction with better location, in one of the main avenues of the center of Puerto Montt; Copiapó 9, next to the Mall Paseo Costanera, where formerly the railway station of the city was located.

At the moment our Hostel is one of the few traditional and historical houses that are staying in the center of the city, built with different types of native woods of the zone like the alerce and mañio, based on a German colonial architecture.

In order to maintain our identity, we made constant improvements for the tourist, but always maintaining the base and architecture of our Hostel.

We invite you to visit us and live an unforgettable experience in the city!
