Austral Road

It is considered one of the best routes in the world thanks to the inhospitable and unique landscapes that run through it.

The adventure of the Austral Highway starts from La Arena Cove (Puerto Montt), then crosses the estuary of Reloncaví by ferry, where you take the road back to Hornopirén.

The route continues between road and ferries crossing Pumalín Park until you reach Chaitén, where you can trek to Chaitén Volcano or fly with fish in Lake Yelcho.

The next stop is Futaleufú. Its wild waters have brought fame to this small town and its rapids have become a world-class destination for rafting enthusiasts.

In its surroundings it is possible to make walks, horseback riding, kayak trips, recreational fishing or venture on its cross roads.
